Cyclopentane for industrial use is a colorless, fluid, and flammable liquid with a benzene-like odor; it is insoluble in water but soluble in most organic solvents such as alcohol, ether, benzene, carbon tetrachloride, and acetone. Its relative density is 0.75 (water=1) and 2.42 (air=1) respectively. It is stable in properties.
The product has been subjected to three times of hydrogenation, with low sulfur content and benzene content, and stable properties; the foaming combination can be tailored to customers’ needs.
