Polypropylene (PP) is a thermoplastic resin produced via polymerization from the monomer propylene. Polypropylene is non-toxic, odorless, and low in density. It is superior to low-pressure polyethylene in strength, stiffness, hardness, and thermal resistance. It can be used at about 100 ¡ãC and is not susceptible to humidity, but at low temperatures, it becomes brittle, and susceptible to wear and aging.
